So yes, we all know the AI thing is happening, right? Some people seem upset about it. Not me. I actually haven't thought for myself since November 30th, 2022. My Liberation Day.

Having said that, I do get it. I keep hearing AI is going to create a permanent underclass of people rendered unemployable by AI. I was already unemployable well before AI, so you can consider me an early adopter.

Still, the future sounds like it could suuuuck, and I would prefer not to spend it as an underclastian. So I am doing the smart thing: recreating software made by smarter people from back when you still had to be smart to make smart things.

That is what The Slop Shop does. We build stripped-down versions of useful software for people who want the result, but not the price hikes.
